It is with great excitement that we announce the arrival of our newest member of the PT Pro team…Nicole Siegel. Nicole brings amazing talent and a wide range of experience to PT Pro…we are thrilled to work side by side with someone with her depth and love of every aspect of physical therapy.

Nicole came to us from the great state of Colorado, but loves the Pacific Northwest. She is an athlete at heart; participating regularly in running, biking and endurance training. It is through her personal training that Nicole can better understand how her patients feel when they are injured as well as their desire to recover quickly so they can continue participating in the activities they love. You’d be surprised to know that physical therapy was not Nicole’s first choice of majors when she entered The University of San Francisco. Dabbling in just about everything under the sun, it wasn’t until her junior year that Nicole became interested in physical therapy. Once she joined the Exercise and Sports Sciences track, she fell in love with the subject matter and couldn’t get enough. Nicole explains, “It was a combination of everything that I loved…exercise, health and wellness, and working with people.”

Nicole finished her schooling and became a physical therapist, then moved on to her Masters in Athletic Training and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Continuing on, she then became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), as well as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Sports Physical Therapy Section and the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).  With still more goals in her future, Nicole is currently working towards obtaining her Functional Manual Therapy Certification through the Institute of Physical Art.

So what does a person do with this vast knowledge? She puts it to work with WashingtonD.C.’s MLS Soccer team as well as the U.S. National Rowing Team. Nicole was part of the sports medicine staff for the Gold Medalist Women’s National Team during a pre-Olympic training camp in Germany in 2012.  She traveled extensively with the team providing preventative care as well as treatment for injured athletes.

Nicole may have an extensive resume to speak of, but she remains grounded and has a passion for putting her patients and their well-being above anything else. On being a student, Nicole says, “My passion for learning also means that if I don’t know what’s wrong with you or how to treat it I am going to figure it out. It’s also your body so I want to learn from you too!” Not only is Nicole a student…she is a teacher as well. She loves sharing her knowledge and expertise with her patients in order to better help them avoid injury. Nicole gives herself fully to her patients during their treatment. Her patients not only get the best possible workout and guidance, they are encouraged to ask any and all questions they may have the opportunity to email Nicole at any time with questions that may arise when they are not in the office.

We believe Nicole embodies the spirit of service we promote here at PT Pro and know she will be a huge asset to our program. We look forward to introducing her to each and every one of you as you pass through our doors. We are honored to be able to offer top-notch treatment and wellness education from leaders in the physical therapy field. Our team continues to build with strength and depth of experience and knowledge allowing PT Pro to offer our patients the best care possible.
