Annika Hayman — Doctor of Physical Therapy, Physical Therapist
Annika is a true Pacific Northwest native.She grew up in Redmond, participating in many competitive sports before heading south to Concordia University in Portland where she received her B.A in Biology in 2015. She then attended Washington University in St. Louis, earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2019.
During her time at Concordia, Annika was a member of the women’s soccer team, garnering various team and individual accolades on the field and in the classroom, including winning the 2013 NAIA National Championship. Her passion for physical therapy is rooted in her athletic background and was solidified during her time as a collegiate athlete when back-to-back injuries sidelined her for seventeen of eighteen months, spanning her freshman and sophomore seasons.
As a DPT student, Annika had the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of physical therapy settings. Her clinical affiliations included work at a level I trauma hospital and stroke center in Kansas City, adolescent sports medicine in Houston, pediatric neurodevelopment and orthopedics in Missoula, and outpatient orthopedics and manual therapy in Colorado Springs.
Annika enjoys helping patients reach their unique and individual goals while identifying the cause of one’s problem(s), not just treating the symptom(s). She enjoys working with patients from all backgrounds, especially young athletes.
Annika’s passions include soccer, running, hiking, biking, skiing, and almost all outdoor activities. She is also a volunteer assistant soccer coach for Lake Washington Premiere FC.
