Sarah WascowSarah earned her Bachelor’s degrees with honors in both Psychology and Fitness Development from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (2012) where she was also a member of the women’s basketball team. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa (2014).

Sarah’s philosophy begins with the importance of individualized treatment by getting to know each
patient and finding out what is important to them, which helps her to work towards each patient’s goals. Manual therapy along with specific exercises for strength improvements and neuromuscular control is her focus with patients. She loves working with children and finding creative and interesting ways to allow them to return to full function without pain, whether that be school activities, sports, or any hobby they may have. Her past experience also includes aquatic therapy, school-based therapy, as well as treating a diverse patient population including mental health, post neurologic injuries, and the special needs population.
Sarah is enjoys hiking, reading, traveling and kayaking – all hobbies that attracted her to the PNW.
